Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and resourceful Content Creator & Social Media Specialist to join our team. This is a fully remote position, open exclusively to residents of Nigeria or Tanzania. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with strong video editing and graphic design skills who can repurpose existing content (videos, books, blogs) for engaging social media formats across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

• Recreate and repurpose existing content (videos, books, blogs) into engaging short-form videos, graphics, and posts tailored to social media platforms.
• Edit videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook, ensuring high-quality and platform-optimized content.
• Design eye-catching graphics using tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar software.
• Develop and maintain a consistent posting schedule across social media platforms.
• Brainstorm and execute creative ideas to boost engagement, reach, and audience growth.
• Monitor and respond to social media interactions to foster community engagement.
• Stay updated on platform trends and leverage them to create relevant content.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure brand consistency and alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in content creation and social media management.
• Strong video editing skills (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Excellent understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook trends, features, and best practices.
• Ability to think creatively and repurpose existing content into engaging formats.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management.
• Residency in Nigeria or Tanzania is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with analytics tools to track performance (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics).
• Basic copywriting skills for captions and social media posts.
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts.
